All admissions are managed by the Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Inclusion Department based at Enfield's Civic Centre with close liaison with the school. The SENCO at the pupil's present school will hold an Annual Review of the Education, Health and Care Plan. Through this process, a 'change of placement' may be decided in order to meet the pupil's needs. This will be managed by the SEN services.
SEN services consult with provisions based on the needs outlined in the EHCP and parental preference. Should a place at Fern House School be offered, all pupils will be invited to attend the school for a taster morning / afternoon to meet their new teacher and class mates before their full time placement commences.
No admissions are dealt with directly by the school.
